| Nothing much happened today. I started training for my new job at Little Caesars. I trained in Pearl and it was really fun.
I have a test in honors english friday so I have to study for that tomorrow.

| My power came back on yesterday at 5:41pm. I'm excited. 6 days without power will make you go insane and plus the heat headaches were getting annoying too. It feels so good to have air again! School starts back Thursday....it's about time...I'm ready to go back.

| I still don't have power and I have no clue when I will. A tree fell on the powerlines and then there are other power lines that fell wrapped around other limbs that fell. It is so hot and I'm bored out of my mind. My whole family is going crazy and we can't sleep at night. We can't cook anything. What is the point in everyone trying to get gas all of a sudden?? I don't get that at all...why not just wait like a normal day and if you need it get it and if you don't then don't bother... I know we don't have it even half as bad as the people on the coast and everyone is in my prayers. I'm thankful that I still have my family, that my friends are ok, I have a house, and that God protected us. I'm up at state visiting my brother's girlfriend, Mandy because they were going insane because they couldn't see each other and I decided to tag along because there's nothing else to do and they have power and AIR! I hope everyone is doing alright. I'm praying for us all! |
